Most people who make home made explosives and bombs are not criminals. They are just intelligent people who are looking for entertainment. When they make home made explosives, they make themselves into "criminals" because the legal system frowns on people who experiment with explosives. The legal system frowns on people who make explosives because it is extremely dangerous to make explosives. The odds are very high that "what you do not know will hurt you". Home made explosives are very unpredictable and you are very likely to be injured or killed if you go near home made explosives.
With this web page, I am attempting to give you fair warning that you will likely be injured or arrested or both if you insist on playing with home made explosives, fireworks or bombs.
What you probably do not know: The author of "Poor Man's James Bond", Kurt Saxon, lost part of one hand in an accidental explosion while he was using home made explosives.
I intentionally have not given out more information because I do not wish to help anyone who uses explosives for criminal purposes. As harsh as it may seem, I would rather see a person who is trying to injure other people with explosives blow themselves up. I am simply trying to assist those kids who think that they can experiment with explosives without getting injured----You can't. You cannot possibly know everything; but what you should know is that if you are going to play with explosives, fireworks or bombs, you are probably going to get hurt.
